Church of Light

[Granyte the Ogre]

To any in Ralinwood that wishes to seek out a Safe Place, the Church of Light will begin holding weekly Prayers starting this Sunday, the 12th at 10 Bells in the Morning. Until the erection of the Church, the Prayers will be held at the Grove of Lamalas Tinehetele, Aspiring Cleric of Valdr, near the Camp of the Guiding Lights. Hot beverages will be available to keep those in attendance warm in these cold lands.

To any that wish to hear the Tenets of Valdr, or how The Stormbringer has come into being, are welcome to attend. Any with Questions are also invited. Please feel free to bring along a friend and join us in this time of Prayer and Story.

As an elementalist, I am curious what sorts of tenets a creature called 'The Stormbringer' espouses. Could you list them here for me, before we waste each other's time? Or list whatever rough approximation of ideas you think the tenets are, if there is nothing official to refer to?

Also, like Aeval's movement to 'reclaim the darkness' - whatever (absolutely not-sinister thing) that refers to - you seem to perhaps be particular in which flavour of light deity you are promoting under the caption 'Church of Light'. Am I misunderstanding, or is that correct?

I'm a little curious too. Is it a church just for Valdr? If it is then why not call it something other than "the Church of Light" and something that's more directed towards Valdr.

Also isn't the Church of Light something else already?

You will find in that regard they are no different than any other god or dragon follower or congregation thereof - or am I mistaken in believing your dragon claims dominion over certain lands or waters?

Rajani would like me to point out that anyone who would like to learn more about the goddess Magnora should just approach her directly. While she may attend some of Lamalas and Declan's sermons, she feels closer to her goddess through work, not prayer. She's often found in town centre, working at her loom.

The Firstborn continue to have their territories, Ferdouz, and for the most part they continue to allow people to reside in them. Even if they insist on constructing churches to the dark and the light.

As the Church is unlikely to stop existing, it would at least be nice if it stayed in its little corner of the world. Last I checked Physignathus hasn't made any attempts to spread, and in fact has a new face to her oceans.
