Ferdouz,
It would be my pleasure. Though I wonder if I'm the ass, the fox, or the lion.
Firstly, the list of known vampire from Jericho is as follows:
-Revion, of Shadowlight
-Jasper the Faun
-A grouping of Minotaurs. Unfortunately no one bothered to get their names.
-Miriam the High Elf - Not to be confused with Miriam the human male, recently deceased.
-Erion of Shadowlight
As a side note, I should also point out that certain visitors from Jericho have also become greater Undead, in the form of Death Knights and Death Rogues. The confirmed ones are Etkas Eidolon and Valkez the carnal fae. There are others that are under suspicion of being vampiric or of being a greater undead, but remain unconfirmed.
As for the Blood Red Rose, we make no secrets of the nature of our operations. It may surprise you, but the Rose is secular organization. We exist for one purpose - the empowerment, representation and the protection of the peasantry of Arthos.
Simply put, farmers, labourers, those that we would deem peasants, do not have the time or strength to defend themselves or have a strong voice in the world around them. They are far too busy supplying us with food and products which permit "civilized" life.
When the Rose creates a chapter house in a region, it is established by the Order of the Shield, which I am a part of. Essentially we are diplomats between the peasantry and the ruling body. We speak with the peasantry to see if their needs are being met; the most common is protection. When the local lands are under attack or civil unrest grows, the first to suffer are the low folk. Raids on farms, unrealistic expectations of production, and even looting by the local populace for supplies. Our Knights and Squires will provide constant patrols of the farms to ensure these needs are being met, and report any problems directly to the local leadership. Should the farmers feel they are being unfairly treated, or local laws are crippling their quality of life, we speak on their behalf. Should a tyrannical leader take power and seek to oppress them, we take the appropriate steps to protect the peasants, or relocate them to more accommodating locations.
This, of course, is the work of the Shield. The Sword is another matter entirely.
Now, in our brief discussions we had a few weeks ago, I'd like to clarify a few points. Our mandate is the protection of the peasantry, not the local adventuring populace. Should we be accepted by the local leadership, we will fulfill our duties as citizens so long as they do not interfere with our vows. But at the same time, we are forbidden from taking any position of power or leadership in said area. We may only serve as advisors, and may not be paid as such. We exist entirely for our duty and commitment.
Do you have further questions?
