It has come to my hearing that I must clarify the sentence passed in the case of Arcadeus vs Red Robin Camp and Red Robin Camp vs Arcadeus.
There are those still devoting time and energy, seeking out witnesses or using mystic powers to try and prove the guilt of Red Robin Camp in the death of Arcadeus Ziggurat, so that the camp can face punishment for murder. In fact, the camp has already been found guilty and sentenced. They are serving their sentence at this time.
For those who would question the lenient sentence, our noble resolve was this: Both Arcadeus and Red Robin committed murder, and both did so as a vigilante action to correct perceived crimes which they had not bothered to seek support from their lords in resolving. That they brought Arcadeus to his final death is very much equalled in that they faced mass death at his hands. Adding to the death count when both sides were already so thoroughly punished by the other would have been folly.
At this time, the camp is sentenced to do an act of service for a Dragon Knight, in memory of Arcadeus who was a devoted follower of the sea wyrm. This is not punishment for the murder, but for the vigilantism. I regret that there are those in this community so determined to take the law into their own hands, especially after they have seen the tragedy that resulted in the case of Arcadeus and the Orcs. Red Robin Camp is still protected as a group of citizens of the settlement, and action against them will be treated as a crime. I hope that those pursuing the matter will devote their time instead to mourning, reflection, and devotion to Phsyignathus, as Arcadeus himself would surely have wanted.
