Most illustrious friends,
Now that the weather is more suited to activity, I have taken it upon myself to either find a teacher or take on an apprentice. If I am so fortunate as to find one of each, I shall count myself all the more lucky.
It is important that one is always learning, to make themselves strong enough to bear the burdens of time. After all, it is known that a good sword cannot be forged of poor iron. And it is equally important that one passes down such as they have learned, as this is their responsibility to their tribe - to chart the oases of wisdom from which others might drink deeply and surpass those who came before them.
For those seeking a student, you will find in the humble petitioner a focused mind, and a will to see through the course of study despite any arduousness. We can discuss terms of compensation for your offering in private. Any skill which I do not possess, I am willing to learn. Special emphasis is placed on lessons of local custom and social manners, of navigation and astronomy, of martial combat and self defence, of falconry and horsemanship, and of magic from those sages who have advanced further in their studies than I.
For those so inclined as to learn, the humble elf will gladly share his knowledge of the elemental arts or the magics of warding and protection. I have knowledge of all four elements for those interested, and have progressed through a fair portion of my training as a ritualist. I will also gladly offer instruction in logic, rhetoric, mathematics, and natural philosophy for those who might be seeking it. As ever, what I can give by way of instruction I do so freely and without seeking payment in return.
Please post a missive below or see me at my tent (colliasc@gmail.com) if you wish to share water and discuss.
