Mystic gathering [Sept 25, 5:40, 2017]
#1
Java gathers many bones from his own collection and scatters them about in a large circle, setting candles in this circle as well.
This area is just outside his tent.
When the area for his mentioned gathering is set he sits comfortably and waits for anyone to come.
He wears his Haldora mask and all his normal bone/leather attire as he waits.
a 6' tall Orc, lots of bones around his person. wears patchwork leather robe with studded leather armor. Speaks in a Bahamian/Jamaican accent much like a Kraja.

Dusara takes a seat a few steps from Java and leans back on her elbows.

-Java looks up to Dusara- "Ello dare Dusara~ Tank you for coming~. I haven't done anyting like dis before so I guess we'll start tings off wit questions. What out of all I wish to speak about, de Deadlands, Mystic arts, and Haldora, would you want to ask about first?~" -There is a cheerful tone in his voice-

She looks interested and speaks softly, "I would wish to know of the dead, of the spirits that wander after death and where they go before moving on."

-He closes his eyes a moment, inhales and exhales to help calm his excited state-

"All these questions tie to one place, the Deadlands."

"When one with a spirit dies, their tie to their soul becomes weaker. When one has died enough times, and their connection to life becomes to weak, they become a Spirit....so that hopefully answers your question 'of the dead'.

"The Deadlands and the Mortal Plane overlap each other and are the closest connected between....The Deadlands is where, souls that do not worship a god, souls that died a unpeaceful or unwanted death, and souls of monsters go after they have met their final death....that hopefully answers 'of spirits that wander after death'."

"The Deadlands is a very Dead plane, no life lives in this plane. The Sky is grey, the earth and nature is dead within it. It is a very nightmarish realm, but only to those who view it with Living eyes. When one is dead and can overcome the fears and terrors of the deadlands, it is no longer a nightmare to live, it is home....Hopefully that answers 'where they go before moving on'."

"Spirits can become lost and confused within the deadlands, wondering its endless void trying to cope with the reality of their life. Some become so wrapped in their emotions they can break into our world. A good example is a Banshee, who's spirit has become so tormented with wrath and hate they become undead and reap death in our world. Others who's emotions are so strong to keep a place safe after death can Haunt a home to protect it, or with the help of a Mystic one can be granted an anchor of sorts to our world and interact with it once more. Spirits can even possess others to exact what they wish on the world, either to get revenge or to cause suffering, each case is what happened in that persons life.....sorry guess I ranted a bit there~ Do you have any more questions?~" -Sounding eager to explain more-

*Closes her eyes for a moment and nods*

"Do spirits grow in strength over time? Or fade away? How is it that some people can guide the dead to final rest and others cannot? I seek to learn how to see spirits to do this as I feel that while the deadlands are part of the natural order there are certainly souls who are tied down or forced against it."

"It depends on de spirit and dare emotions...ones who feel sad emotions normally become one of the many shambling spirits that fade. Ones of rage and revenge grow, look to a Banshee for a good example. They dont gain or lose fast, it takes time...for how long I do not know.

About setting a spirit to rest all depends on the spirit itself. Normally it requires a task, but once it is complete if the spirit is at peace they will rest. One example was a Bard spirit sung out to try and find her Husband, I brought the body of the Bard with me to search. We found the Husbands body and their spirits met. They held each other as they faded into the deadlands...Dedication and commitment to spirits is how one truly interacts with one.

I can help you open your mind to see the spirits if you so wish it, in public or in private it matters not. I openly ask others who want to learn to come find me, I happily teach and am willing to work with one as long as it takes~.

You are right, while some spirits naturally make the Deadlands their home, some are tied to it against their wishes...but normally this is not without reason. I see the deadlands as a place to punish those who harm my Kin and Clan, let their lives be cut short and live a afterlife in a Nightmare-ish realm...while other spirits who have done nothing to me who seek aid, I help at least find rest in Haldora's domain.

Hopefully this continues to help you understand...and if you wish...I can grant you a gift to see the spirits for a time...here...and now..."

Dusara nods in assent to Java's request. "That would be helpful to understand. My kind lives our lives feeding off latent spiritual energy without causing harm to the souls they are tied to and yet we have done nothing to try and help them. I'd like to learn how so I can begin to repay those spirits for their help. It's also something I've been asked to do, by Vesmir and my own conscience."

-Java pulls out his lantern and crystal ball- "...Vesmir...de god of natural death and time...Haldora and Vesmir I take it would have a great deal of difference...one about de Deadlands, while de other works around it...both involve spirits..."

-After Java gets his unique set-up he motions Dusara to sit before the crystal ball surrounded by bones with the lantern by java's side-

"Wit my connection to de Deadlands I can help you see dem to find a guardian spirit...de gift of Foresight..."
-he holds out his hand in a handshake like manner-
"I do not force dis on anyone...I can hold back de cry's and emotions of de Dead...but if you want de full course...I could share wit you what de most trained mystics, or at least what I deal wit, deal with when dare connection to de deadlands is dis strong"

*Dusara nods and makes a motion towards her hourglass pendant* "I would beg the differ Java and say that they would be tied closer than most others. I've heard that some mystics could walk the deadlands while still being in this world with their body dieing which means, in my mind at least, that everyone passes through the deadlands before coming into Vesmir's hands and delivery to their respective planes of rest. Which means that the plan itself is natural and worthy of respect and protection, even if Haldora herself was greatly wronged by the Einish upstarts. I followed Haldora myself for a time truth be told, before finding my way into Vesmir's boat so to speak. I have high respect for those who walk her path, it is not easy."

*She reaches out a hand towards Java* "I wouldn't come to speak and learn if I didn't trust you Java, I accept what you will show me."
