The Man with the Dragon Tattoo ((TS: April 13 @ 7pm))

[Gennaro M]

"Aldritch," is the gruff reply. "I'm taking my meal to the Lady's tent." He glances through narrowed eyes at the retreating back of Levi. "Tell your friend if he wants cod, I just unloaded a bunch of it to Squilly's whore to barter with."

He begins to walk toward the tavern again.

[Arcadeus Ziggurat]

*He nods*

"Take care, Aldritch"

[Gennaro M]

Aldritch disappears into the tavern, reappearing some ten minutes later with enough food to feed three. He makes his way over to the pavilion with a singlemindedness unique to an older man of physical labour.

Some hours later, around midnight, he exits the pavilion and stands outside, gazing up at the sliver of moon in the sky. He removes a bone pipe from his tunic and stuffs it with something out of a pouch. He lights it without a visible source and puffs quietly, seeming both brooding and contemplative.

[Arcadeus Ziggurat]

*He walks up beside, looking up at the moon*

"The Lady fairing well, Captain Aldritch?"
*He keeps looking at the sky*

[Gennaro M]

"Passing fair," is the neutral reply. After a long pull from his pipe, Aldritch exhales downward and looks Arcadeus in the eye, studying the man. "Ludwic. Do you know him?"

[Arcadeus Ziggurat]

*He looks him back in the eye, tilting down his glasses to meet his gaze*

"The one bearing the Firstborn mask. Aye. I've spoken with him. Good lad"

[Gennaro M]

Aldritch nods crisply, glances off toward the docks. "I have business to attend to, but I'll return to witness Lord Curum's welcoming feast. If he is in town, introduce him to me when I return. Inform him one of Physignathus' own wishes to speak with him." Unless stopped, he walks away from Arcadeus in the direction of the docks.

[Arcadeus Ziggurat]

"Captain. Before you go. If I see those salamanders again, what course of action do you recommend?"

*He tilts his head towards him*

[Gennaro M]

He stops, turns half-way to face Arcadeus. "Do not engage. Observe, if it is safe to do so, and report. These are dangerous creatures of a sort you won't be familiar with. They will be more than a match for most in a one-on-one encounter, and they rarely break land alone. Give your report directly to me. Am I clear?"

[Arcadeus Ziggurat]

"Crystal"
*He intones dryly*

"I'll give you my findings at the feast for Lord Curum, Captain Aldritch. May the Turquoise watch over you"
