I've seen a few too many winters to concern myself with that. Adventure is a young mans folly and pretending to know what you're talking about is an old man's folly!
*he laughs loudly at his own joke*

Then I assume you are just along for the ride? Or do you have business here? Or are you like myself and just wish to help?

[Brennus]

I came with the young elven lady you've been speaking with. She's youthful despite being older then I am and I can't seem to help the feeling of paternalism.
*he leans on his staff a little heavier as he peers at uther*
You just wish to help you say? What if the town decides as a whole for this to be a place of wickedness? Will you hrlp or hinder then?

"The old man waxes philosophical. I suppose there isn't much left for him to do other than talk and think though."

*Laughs at Brennus but looks expectantly at Uther*

I doubt farmers intend to become wicked. The town cannot become evil, but it's residents can. I will prevent this town from the vileness that is spreading across my homeland. I will do just by the town, and if that brings me into conflict with some of the convicts that call it home, so be it. I will not stand idly by as evil musters in the heart of town... nor will I allow it to corrupt those such as Aminata, Briar or even the wood fae Ash. There are good people in this town, and I intend to keep it that way.
