Wizwik can be seen just outside the tavern enjoying a simple lunch, while eating one of the rings disappear from around his tongue. The innermost ring around the Mark flashes and the light is absorbed into the Dark Fae Mark, seeming to strengthen it. One ring remains around his tongue, and around the Mark. The Mark does not disappear. Wizwik looks down at his hand seeing all this happen
