The Note-Taker (TS: 04/23/2015 - Mid afternoon)
#14
Kyrem searches through a series of papers before pulling out a simple diagram, showing a line representing a pathway and trees on either side, "This is one of my ideas. An army wouldn't be able to bush-whack through the thick foliage. It would be inefficient for them to do so. There are many paths in Ralinwood I've observed that have thick brush on either side. What we do is position sentries on the outskirts of town and when we get warning of incoming orcs, we either bait them down the paths or simply let them walk down the paths themselves since it would take the least resistance from them. Then we have groups of archers positioned on either side of the path at spaced increments to prevent friendly-fire. Then we simply have them peg the orcs with arrows from the brush. If the orcs attempt to get at the archers, all they must do is flee deeper into the woods where they'll be hard to find."
