The Marketplace Tent (Feb 19th, 7:30 AM)
#9
Alaxel takes out a cold remedy then drums her fingers against the table. “Pain numbing…I think I got something.” She rummages through a box and then takes out a glass jar filled with grassy coloured cream, peppered with dark green plant fragments. “I do not have anything so powerful as to knock someone out – that’s alchemical and I’m trying to find the recipe. This however is a local anesthetic. It’s pretty heady; apply thinly, like a poultice, skin only. Keep it on for 10 minutes then remove to do surgery, reapply after. It kills pain for at least three hours but I guess it depends on your race too, yes. It’s good for bone-setting, since it has comfrey in it as well. I also have painkillers made from willow bark extract, but they’re for general pain and aren’t as strong. I take a silver per jar, there are eight applications in each one.” She nods affirmatively.
Alaxel Vane is a small human woman. She wears a long black cloak lined with unusual patterns, and will often be seen wearing either a gold, purple, or blood red mask.
