Dande sits at the edge of the docks looking into the water.She lets her feet hang over the edge and hugs herself, crying.She looks through her bag and takes out her pocket watch. She looks down at it and mumbles."P-papa..I...I dont unders-stand..."She sniffles and rubs her eyes on her sleeve."What d-did I do wrong?" She raises her legs back onto the docks and hugs them tightly, burying her face in her knees.
"Papa always said, a clock never goes backwards, it just keeps going forward.No matter how to wind the clock, it will always go forward.You must try and be like a clock and keep going forward because the past is past and you cant change that."

*Swiggins is practically next to Dande as he smooths out the side of his boat hull working hard and feeling the burn of many weeks work. He takes a moment before setting a bottle of ale next to Dande.*
"Ya know if you got time to sit and question yer self then ye be quite alright enough to be working on bettering yourself or helping out. Ain't like there ain't anybody round to be helping or nothing. So spill."

Dande rubs her face against her knees before looking up at the captain with puffy eyes. She sniffles."Sorry C-captain...it's just...Im so confused. I thought I was doing everything the way your supposed to when your seeing someone and then...then Wizwik tell's me I need to slow down...I dont understand. Ive never been with anyone before...we've been together for a month and I had this feeling something might have been off but I thought it was just nervous butterflies but...I guess it was my gut trying to prepare me for this." She buries her face back in her knees.

*Swiggins continues his work as he speaks, his voice is gruff and calm as to try and convey understanding.*
"Be listening good there Little one, ya ain't be good with rushing into things. Ain't your cup o' tea, but what ya can be doing is taking your time with things and actually listening. If Wiz said ya need to slow down then be taking his advice and doing so. Learn bout yer partner instead of rushing into things just like learning anything in life."
*Swiggins takes a moment to wipe his brow and his right arm. the cloth he drops has a light splatter of blood.*

Dande looks down at the cloth then back at the captain."Maybe Im not really ready for a relationship yet." She reaches in her bag for a bandage.She finds one and offers it to him."Here, can't have the Captain staining the ship with his own blood, thats what enemies are for." She smiles a bit and looks back into her bag pulling out a bottle of wine."Here, I can make my own and..this is too strong for me. And..after all my stupidity this is likely a better idea for it anyway."She hands him a bottle marked "Pumpkin Wine"."I know its not silver or gold but...I havent sold anything yet. Im trying though. Im not giving up."

Dande smiles weakly and tucks the bottle away. "Your a good Captain Swiggins, Im proud to be a member of your crew." She stands and hugs the captain around the neck before running off toward the tavern.
