The docks have been left in burning ruins. The wharf and the portions that once extended out into the water have been burned and broken, and most of the shattered planks have been reclaimed by the ocean, leaving nothing but scarred posts jutting out of the water. The surrounding buildings have been torched, and while the skeletal structures of most still stand, a few have been reduced to crispy rubble. The water along the shore is muddied and disturbed, and a lot of debris can be seen drifting, slowly rocking in and out with the tide. Visible among it, there are what appear to be the occasional water-logged bodies along the shore...not all of them intact. Most have been burned so badly they are not recognizable.
Here and there, townsfolk who escaped the siege are visible, wandering along looking lost, crying, or curled up in fetal balls in the ash-riddled sand.
