A Tiny Light (TS: Dawn February 13th) - Aelin - 02-13-2015
With the thick layer of clouds blanketing the sky in a gloomy overcast, the dawn comes this morning with only a barely noticeable change in the sky. A deep blue-black becomes a murky dark blue with hints of grey, and large, soft flakes of snow drift lazily down from the sky. The wind, for once in the last few days, appears to have died down.
A soft glow has appeared along the path leading up from the stream down past the town's central fire pit. A small ball of blue-white light, just a bit larger than the palm of someone's hands, bobs along in and out of the trees at around waist-height. It slowly seems to be wandering up the hill, flickering occasionally as it weaves here and there, in and out of the edge of the forest.

*Ludwig can be seen sitting cross-legged on the ground 30 feet from the bobbing light. He is writing in a book, sitting next to a semi-frozen berry bush, quite obviously documenting something. He looks up when he sees the light*
"Ooh. Vhy hello zere little vone. Guten moren"

*Out on her early morning hunt the light is spotted by Luna as she slowly follows it with a child like interest.*
"Morning Ludwig." *She smiles as she seems the elder dwarf*

"Oh, ah, guten morgen, mein child- Be careful vith zat light-"
*He closes his book, putting his Gnomish quill away on the spine of it, and scrambles to his feet, hobbling after Luna*
"Be careful, Fraülein"

The flickering sphere seems to pause for a moment, and then wander just slightly closer to Ludwig and his book. When he closes it it and climbs to his feet, however, it bobs away again and continues to weave in a random pattern in and out of the trees as it moves further up the trail.

*Luna smiles softly watching the light bob around.* "She is pretty."

*He ceases channeling, follow the light slowly*
"She? Little Fae, vould you like to hear a story, hmm? I am assuming by your glow, you are a Vinter sprite, ja?"

-Kare comes out form muintir to notice the ball of glowing light- "...Uh...Ludwig...that your doin'? or is that something we should be worried about" -kare comes over to where Luna and Ludwig are-
