Studding armour that will pass.. I will be studding a buddies armour shortly... I just want to make sure that it will pass, I will be studding them 2" apart as per the requirement with large head nails (ie roofing bright) and small washers. I'm not sure if there is a studding standard...?

For studding armour people usually use leather/clothing studs, or generic store bought, leather rivets.

Thanks for the info, I wasn't sure how hard core folks wanted it done. I figured steel nails with steel washers. So I'll let my friend pick from the gamut of studs available.
