There came another chime a moment later, slightly drawn out. It sounded almost like a soft sort of bell.

Another chime follows, and a moment later the light lifts off from his hat again and begins drifting away.

Left to its own devices, the little sphere of light drifts back off into the trees. Eventually, it is out of sight.
((Please PM me if anyone is going to try and follow it that deeply into the woods.))
