A dark shape emerges from the sea of demons, heading towards the tavern. When it comes closer, pushed forward by the mass, the townsfolk can recognize the furred face of Rajani, head held high and dragging two trunks behind her. She does not seem worse for wear, but when she reaches the tavern the fur around her eyes seems wet. She pulls her trunks into a corner by where Dexter is sitting and recuperating, pulls out a small loom from one of the trunks and plants herself behind it, furiously clacking away. She is trembling slightly. She faces away from the rift, and therefore away from her caravan directly in it's path, overrun with demons. Shortly thereafter the caravan catches aflame.

Lilith says, quietly, to Golbahg: "I can't think of any reason they would allow us to stay here unmolested if they had the chance. I think something is keeping them out."

Golbahg nods quietly at Lilith's statement before turning to her,"Lilith, could we speak for a moment?" he speaks softer and quieter than usual.

"Of course." Lilith walks out of the crowd, to somewhere a little quieter.

Ursel finishes her prayer and raises her head, her eyes bloodshot. "So do we have a plan? I understand that at this point we have little choice but to wait but that does not mean we have to be idle. What does it take to kill these things?"

-Wizwik walks over to Rajani- "Hey Rajani...besides the bullshit that just happened...anything I can do to help?"

Rajani pauses her work and turns to look at Wizwik, considering him for a moment. She looks to be struggling with something inside herself, as if two sides of her personality are fighting to take control of her actions and it is unclear what she should choose to do. After a moment she seems to make a decision, calms herself, and is almost peaceful. She looks up slightly to where the gnome is standing beside her and smiles a pained smile. "No Wizwik, there is nothing you can do for me. But there is work to be done for the others. Just one moment." She turns to her trunks, removing cloth of all colours and fabrics, from the simplest wools to the finest of silks. She raises herself to her feet and begins handing these out indiscriminately to the townsfolk to use as bedding. She also offers her services where needed as a tailor without charge, repairing the torn clothes which adorn the survivors (Demetria's clothes are the first to be repaired.) She works swiftly and furiously, sometimes mumbling under her breath.
She still does not look towards her burning home.
