Oh oh oh! And the Booku Spooku Tiki Head! Fuck I love that item.
A petite wood fae in a corset and black velvet skirt. She wears a lot of gaudy jewellery and a wide-brimmed black hat. She speaks with a Received Pronunciation English accent.

Highlights from the other side:
- Trenton: IS THAT THE SAME ORC?! Me: Maybe? Who knows! Not me! (Subsequently gets my head torn off my corpse.)
- A certain lovely Einher's less than lovely addiction.
- Getting to play a spooky scary orc for the final mod. I had a blast with that one. RIP Pauline you died so young.
- Sergeant Dickface and Private Nodick
- Kitty and I getting separated from Jeff and lost in the forest for so long that we abandoned our jobs and started making up increasingly elaborate backstories for Sergeant Dickface and Private Nodick. This included but was not limited to a crisis in faith, a newfound hatred of trees, cursing the guy we were supposed to be guarding, elf tarts and praising the sun when we finally found a path.
- Writ induced nervous breakdowns in NPC camp
*edit* I somehow forgot to mention:
- Ange and Jada getting upset that Ivanna was wearing a tabard to what was obviously a boob mod leading to Ivanna slowly removing it while we all cackled.
Ori Moran: A purple feathered Avian with a red hat who carries a black and white shield. She has three Shadow Marks over one eye and a scar through the other.
Nelinha: Some asshole Ice Elf. Has a bright red hooded scarf and a black winged brooch.

The Good
- The plot team did a great job in laying the groundwork for this event both in the written hook's choice of wording and what's been hinted at in the chats by the NPCs that wander though.
- The NPC's did a fantastic job! Special shout out goes to Dan for suffering through that nightmarish interrogation, Jada's creepy spider, and my sister for being obnoxious as that orc runner. It's a compliment, really. The costumes for all of the above and more were also excellent.
- Honestly, the use of wytchcraft was really great for me. I think we all know how gross the normal spells are when they have your blood, and I gotta assume the rituals are way worse. I was kinda worried people would just have their heads exploded from a distance, but instead we had some great curse effects that led to fun RP.
- Normally I don't put PC stuff here cause review but everyone especially good with the RP this game? It was just a great time interacting with folks.
The Less Good
- I know people have mentioned it but it was the only con I could think of too. I honestly couldn't tell if that spider fae fueled wytch search was supposed to be fruitless or not. Her insistance that we do something made it feel like we should find someone, but many of us combed a massive chunk of the site with no luck. Left me pretty exhausted, though that was also partially from me tuckering myself out by skittering around (and accidentally bodyslamming the driveway, twice) in full armour.
Personal Highlights
- Literally everything surrounding the orc's interrogation, from bad puns to the rather heated RP between those involved and the PC orcs when we had to resort to charm magic.
- Orokgrim coming back! I was so worried it would be a while before we saw him again. Also our rest on the ground in town center that drew concerned passers by to check on us.
- Being cursed, and how I was then treated while Sleep'd by my allies. The fact that Carrion will never know what was said about him during those moments pains me.
- Watching Blank disable a wytch's magic, bellow at her to crawl back into her hole and die, and then spend the rest of the fight screeching. Hell is that noise.
- Sevatar slapping a bunch of prots on himself and going whatever Super Saiyan Dragon Mode that was before wandering into a small mob of enemies I had been told could flatten most of us into red paste.
IG: A human man in a crow skull mask, grey stole, and black clerical vestments. Occasionally carries an iron or silver dagger, but more often seen without any visible weapons or amour to speak of.

Once again I had a great time!
I don't think I have a lot to add that hasn't been said already, though.
-The pacing was really great, and everything tied together well. I know I missed a lot of things but I still at least understood the general thrust of what was happening. And we ended pretty much right on time!
-I though that giving the town a chance to be proactive by having us try and set up an ambush was really great! A lot of the time things can feel very reactionary, just from the nature of the game, so it was a cool way to set that up.
--On the other hand, we are really *bad* at ambushes. Zia should not need to be chasing orcs and trolls :p I probably should not have survived that :p
-I know this was not in Shaper hands, but the weather was so perfect! I loved just being able to sit out and have tea and conversations. I actually even got a minor sunburn :o
-RP in general was really great! Eventually I/Zia will learn and remember more people's names reliably, but I always enjoy chatting with folks.
-Makeup and costuming on NPCs was really stellar.
-I do have to agree with the people who have mentioned being frustrated about the spider-fae-whatever from Maximuss henge yelling at us to go find the witch, and then all of town tiring themselves out in a fruitless search. By the time it was clear that something really was happening on that front (which had nothing to do with people's search efforts), it was hard to motivate people to actually get moving because they were tired from tromping all around the site. It is possible that we missed something, I will grant, but if we missed it, we *really* missed it. In the end it just felt like they looked really cool (they looked so cool!), but I'm not sure what else we really got out of that encounter.
Overall a great event though!
