"Might I join you folks in your training? I have just taken up the bow recently and would love any pointers that you've picked up."

"I think its better your hesitant at fighting. When you start to crave it is when you should be worried" *Touching the pommel of his longsword* "I'm not a master swordsman but I know the basics and have been in my fair share of fights, so if you'd like we can spar sometime to get you some practice with your blade".
