2015 Race Discussion

Hey guys,

Right now, over on the Jericho boards, they are discussing new races that will be cycled into the Frag Book this coming season. I highly suggest everyone takes the time to head over there, make an account if you don't already have one, and voice your opinions, concerns, and ideas in the threads! There is some really cool discussion going on. I've hyperlinked each thread below.

I notice ice elf will be replacing wolven this year. This means draconian is still in for another season ?

Love the Faceless idea XD now just because they are in jerico, does that mean they can be played in Ralinwood?

The Frag book is common between guilds, so anything in there will be fair game for our chapter.

Jerichonian female elf here! A Pantherghast that comes after only you would be absolutely terrifying. it has "innate death" and can only be harmed by female elves. He body camps, kills everyone who gets in his way, and uses a body spear with "obliterate elf".
If the pantherghast is the same as the faceless master, you are LITERALLY at the mercy of plot. Your bonus wont function, and other people may not be able to fight it.
The only option is run, and for the love of god don't stop. At least the pantherghast has a ton of other elves to be distracted.
On the up side, make a sufficent number of powerful friends and this race could be a breeze, but as I already said, you are at the mercy of plot and how well that goes depends entirely on them.

The Pantherghast is the first son of the Elven God L'lyandra and has a genocidal hatred of her other children the Elves. He is imprisoned in Hell with the exception of the All Hallows weekend when he is allowed to sate his bloodlust by L'lyandra. He wields a spear to which he has limitless Spellstrike Deaths as it is an innate ability and will usually only use it on non-Elves if they get in his way, try to Life a downed Elf, or are believed to be hiding Elves from him. He can only be hurt or stalled by female Elves. Nothing that anyone else does has any effect. He has a cult made up of Dark Clerics, Dread Knights, and Death Knights on top of some mundane followers.

The only deaths I have taken in 3 seasons as my Jericho character was during a 6 month period that he was freed but the cult that follows him.

Even with powerful friends if he is the Dark God that the Faceless escaped it will not be a breeze should the Pantherghast come hunting you. It likely will not be a breeze since it is a God hunting you anyways. They are an Obscure race for a reason

That is correct.

I wasn't suggesting dealing with the master would be a breeze, I meant that since he only comes after you when plot decides he does (just noticed I'm using he, could also be a she or non-gendered) it could be relatively easy since he might not be around that much. No, if he comes out you're just screwed, may whatever god you worship have mercy on your soul.

Whenever the mask comes of you can be screwed. Nothing stopping a player from incapacitating or waiting until a Faceless is incapacitated to remove the mask to screw over the player.
