As another dreary day drags on, a note on fine parchment is found attached to the town’s Notice Board:
“Citizens of the Town of Ralinwood,
About a year ago, you welcomed me into this town with a party. I feel it time to return the favour. I will be hosting a party on a small island about one league from Ralinwood in the evening on Saturday, January 25. I will go ahead and set up the place, but have arranged for a ship to take you there. If you wish to join, the chartered ship will depart at 7 bells from the berth in front of the Swashbuckler’s Luck. There will be drink and music for all.
