The Threefold Hospital of Ralinwood - Dr. Moran - 09-24-2018

People of Ralinwood

In concurrence with Governor Aminata Gomorrah I am pleased to announce the formation of the Threefold Hospital of Ralinwood. 

Unlike the previous hospital this organization will be working directly with the pavillions to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that there is always organization and resources available to the doctors and healers of town. It is jointly run by myself, Dr. Moran, and Miahla.

The hospital will be operating under the following rule set, as approved by House Gomorrah:
  1. The hospital exists to preserve life. All life is to be protected, no matter the race, religion, nationality, or loyalty. 
  2. All patients will be healed for free, except in the case where the patient gets hurt doing something stupid like participating in a fighting pit. Optional, non-life saving treatments may also incur a cost, to be agreed upon before the procedure is undertaken. Donations are, of course, welcome.
  3. We will not prioritize some patients over others in exchange for money or anything else.
  4. We are not equipped to deal with non-mortal life. Undead, demons (even those who somehow possess writs), elementals, etc., are not our business.
  5. If a member of the hospital refuses to heals somebody due to personal bias, inform the hospital heads or another member so that they can heal the person instead and speak with the hospital member in question.
  6. Members are asked to tell the Scribe (currently Dr. Moran) about any new relevant skills they learn (medicine, magic healing, scroll harvesting, mana harvesting, etc.) so that we always know what we have access to.
  7. Freedom is absolute. While we ask that you follow these rules and the orders we give, we will never force anyone to do anything. We do, however, reserve the right to fire those that break hospital rules or act against the spirit of the organization. 
With the formation of this hospital we are putting out an open call to doctors and healers within town. If you are willing to abide by these rules and join the new hospital we can offer compensation for your work and help ensure that resources are properly utilized. We are also seeking a limited number of hospital guards who will be charged with protecting these healers during combat. If you are interested in joining then please seek myself or Miahla out this coming weekend. Members of the previous hospital are welcome and encouraged to apply. 

Additionally the hospital provides access to a healing spellbook for local healers to memorize off of every Saturday, please speak to Dr. Moran if you are interested in joining the study group.

On a related note:

The town resurrection circle vanished in the night last month. I am working on acquiring a new one. Could the following camps please select one of their members who are around regularly to represent them and become an investee: 
The Ragaire
House of I
The Brewlords 

We are limiting the amount of investees to one per major camp for now as we have limited resources, so please choose somebody you think will actually be around when needed. 

Currently we are hoping to have the ritual cast on Saturday September the 29th.

I would be happy to meet with you at any time to discuss things! The hospital is likely to be based on the hill with the tree where the resurrection circle should be, we'll be putting up a banner for it. Just the one location, the Threefold part refers to an entirely separate thing which I can explain when we talk.
