Shattered Elf Ritual Kicking and You - Dr. Moran - 05-17-2018

Ralinwood,

Some additional information about the Shattered Elves and their rituals. They will be attempting to perform something called the "Rite of Invocacion Demonio", this is the ritual that extends how long the Mortigeist will be able to roam Arthos. Things to know about it:

What does it look like?
A circle of blood that will contain some Shattered Elves and their victim. Also requires a spear and a mask, usually white roses too.

How long does it take/how long do we have to stop it?
Ten minutes, like most rituals.

Do they only use elves for this?
No. Anybody and everybody is fair game. Depends on the tastes of the hunting party.

How do we stop it?
Mess up the blood circle, incapacitate the casters, or kill the victim. Doing this will cause hemorrhaging to all those within the circle. I don't know how deadly it is so... maybe try not to be in the circle when you stop it. Or bring a healer.

What if we don't stop it?
The victim and the Shattered Elves will be pulled into hell and you'll get another hour with the Mortigeist. Considering what he did to town last time he was out, this is very, very, bad.

I think that's everything I know. Thank you to all who helped me compile this information.

It should also be added that they typically protect themselves with Circles of Protections. Well learned Witch Hunters may be very beneficial.

Thank you, Oz. That didn't occur to me. I believe some can cast divine wards as well, though those are far easier to bypass than circles of protection.
