*Blank emerges from the trail that leads to the Skein Gate. He is carrying a small tent bag and bird-headed umbrella in one hand, and a tightly wrapped bundle in the other. A black tricorn is on his head, secured under his chin with string. He totters toward the tavern unless stopped.*
