Bow Crafting Guide? - PhineasCain - 01-22-2018 Does anyone know of a decent guide for crafting a bow from scratch? I've seen a couple rough guides about using PVC piping, heating it to make it pliable to bend into shape, covering with foam, etc... But none of them that I've seen have brought up how to attach the bow string properly and how to ensure you have the right amount of tension for a LARP, which seems like the more difficult/important part (for safety/functionality/durability purposes). I've found plenty of great guides on building safe arrows, so that's no problem Thanks for any help here!
