To Active Members of the Republic Arcanist Collective - Promises - 11-28-2017
I am presently taking note of those who wish to be part of the Collective still.
It is typically an exercise in self flagellation to organize all of the different cats mages into one room because most of them hate each other.
I have no idea who still holds their posts here. I will appoint temporary representatives to duties going unfulfilled.
The threat of entities like Mother undermines the importance of the Republic Arcanist Collective's mission here to perform magical research to benefit the citizens of Duvain.
We were unprepared. There may be more entities like Mother both in the catacombs, the tower, or around Duvain.
We have had pretty good luck at acquiring ritual scrolls for members who are involved for more then just the gold cost required. These things take time and trials that few of you seem willing to undertake to be trusted with such powerful magic. The Citadel here can certainly speak to the dangers of uncontrolled magic.
I would like to remind all members of the Collective that our charter remains unchanged in the presence of occupation by foreign bodies. We respect the local laws and are similarly bound by our duties to Duvain.

It is me. I like reading the notice board. So many things to learn. I do not know what this is, but it has to do with magic right? Right. It seems so.
I would like to join this group. Can I join this group? I cast magic.
I like magic. Do you like magic? What is magic? What is the benefit of being in this group? Is there a benefit? I do not know what this is anymore. Can someone explain to me?

Yes, you can join, if you can cast magic.
The nature of magic is something you can expect to be discussed amongst fellow casters in the Collective.
Aside from being a unifying banner for those who wish to further the study of magic amongst peers, the Collective’s scroll library is the largest in Ralinwood. When time allows, I have made scrolls for those in the Collective who are missing them from their spell book.
There is discussion of our members taking on apprentices, but I do not know if this has happened.
That is about as much as I will publicly say on the benefits of membership.

I may be interested in learning more of the healing magic variety and doing what I can to benefit Ralinwood and the surrounding area as a whole. I as well have experiments I've been running of the non magical variety that I think may be of use to the collective. Specifically ones done on the Savar Plague and the entity known as Ga'More.
