Falling out of the Skein ((June 6th, 1am)) - Jasper Ironstag - 06-06-2017
There is a flash at the skein and a faun topples out.
She has brown, curly hair and long black and purple robes trimmed with black fur. On her legs are a pair of modest black pants and a red buff rings her throat. She shakes herself off, dusts her sleeve and gives a sharp snort as she adjusts the pack on her back. Purple flowers dot her hair and large, seemingly black antlers protrude from her forehead. On her face is an iron mask of Raze.
"Will never get used to that." she mumbles to herself. "You okay, Jonquil?"
From inside her sleeve, a porcupine emerges, giving a shrill chirrup as it climbs her arm.
She glances about to see if anyone's around.

As he passes the gate while doing a casual patrol of the town center, Carrion jumps slightly as it springs to life. He squints after the initial burst of light, then nods to the newcomer.
"Ah good evening, welcome to..." His eyes fall upon the porcupine, then return to the Raze mask on the newcomer's face and the antlers upon her head. "Oh! Jasper, is that you?"

She turns to Carrion and though its hard to tell, she smiles behind the mask. "Carrion! Good to see you again, my friend!" She parts her purple sleeves wide and invites the human into a hug. "Its been far too long. Jericho's been a real hassle lately, so I figured I'd come out here for a little vacation. The salty sea air is so calming here. How have you been?"

The hug is accepted, and he gives Jonquil a very careful pat.
"To be honest? Exhausted. Still, I shouldn't complain. I hear Jericho is going to the dogs. Well, vampires. It's good to see you safe." He beams. "You do look different, though. I almost didn't recognize you, but there's only so many Raze worshipping fauns."

Sevatar walks into view from the direction of the docks. He is without his armor, or weapons. He stops about twenty feet away and looks between Jasper and Carrion. His head tilts slowly. He starts to whistle a tune.

She peers off in the direction of the whistling and flicks an ear, then chuckles at Carrion. "I suppose that's right, about the Raze worshipping fauns. I went to the farms and got it all trimmed and dyed with alchemy. I've done a lot of growing and only baby deer have white spots." She adjusts her pack. "What's new in Ralinwood?"

He glances in the same direction before turning back to her. "Fae. Shitloads. There's been some trouble with restless spirits and wytches as well, but that's been the most recent trouble. And the worst of it so far, given the tole it took on the town."

"Oh joy, fae. Last experience I had with them wasn't particularly pleasant. That's when Miss Sil started turning inside out and I had to operate on Miss Enna's eye socket with my hoof." she grimaces. "Fifty foot tall Sirios and everything." She sighs and shakes her head, starting the walk towards Sevatar. "I'll keep a sharp eye. mind walking me into town?"

"Of course." He keeps step beside her. "Ah, we have official laws here now that we're a proper town. We'll need to get you a traveler's writ. Offers more protection, if you obey the law."

"Oh, yes please!" She says with a smile. "How much do they cost? I'm a little tight on gold right now...Some jackass murdered me and nicked all my stuff." she snorts with a slight hostility. "Everything but my sword." She pats the sword on her hip.
