Primrose enters the tavern rather tipsy and looking for Gale. She blabbers something about tarot readings and her grandmother, and then something about how the Fool card is 'clearly bullshit'.

Gale can be found shuffling her cards and eating a meat pie, she looks up at the door's opening.
"Why hello Prim, I was hopin' someone would take me up on mah offer. Sit down and get yerself a drink."
She pats the bench beside her and waves for the tavern keepers attention.

Prim hops up onto a chair. She pulls out a glass bottle of wine from her purse and sets it on the table.
"Already got it," she says with a grin. "Though water would be nice it's very hot out anyway-"
She nods towards the cards. "I am very interested in the tarot... tarots... taro? No yeah I got two silver. Now," she sets her hands on the table, her expression going serious. "What are my spread options?"

Gale's face sobers with Primrose's,
"Naw, is this a question for the cards, or the spirits? Cuz I do a 5 card cross fur plain questions, which is 2 silver. Spirit cards gets kinda fancy. And exhausting..."
She finishes off her food and wipes her face with the back of her fist.
"These are my grand-auntie's major arcana, I don't waste time with the fiddly cards"

"Just the cards, please," Prim says with a firm nod. "I can't think of anything important enough to ask spirits."

Gale asks Prim to shuffle the deck, once shuffled she pulls 5 cards as follows:

Gale closes her eyes and lets her mind wander for a moment
"You have had a choice about living a new life or staying where it's safe. That choice will be, or has been your hardest decision yet. I believe you choose whatever option challenges you the most."
She opens her eyes and gives a cheeky grin,
"Two silver please... Make any sense to ya?"

Prim stares blankly at Gale, her eyes a bit wide. She pulls out four silver and promptly places it down in front of Gale.
"Okay okay, one more question, a little more specific this time," she slurs. "It's about past... things. Not current or future. I wanna know 'bout my past from that one specific event and I want to know if he's coming back or why that happened. Something like that."

Gale hands the cards to Prim to shuffle and lays another 5 card cross

"This one's a bit trickier,"
She tilts her head from side to side
"The man needed to provide for someone, someone dear. He got involved with a bad deal, or he fell into a bad crowd. It doesn't look good for him coming back unchanged."

Primrose blinks, frowning. She stares at the top card for a while, then glances at the bottom one.
"I think y'think I'm thinking about a different male but... okay. That could be one of two other men and I guess at least one of them is fucked."
She shrugs. "Thanks Gale. I'll keep y'in mind if I have any spirit-worthy questions."

Gale puts her cards away and sweeps the 4 silver into one of her pouches.
"I'm heading off to bed now, g'night Prim."
