Lessons on Basic Sword Use - Andrei Katrares - 04-28-2015
Citizens of Ralinwood,
On Saturday, May 9th, at around 9 bells in the morning, I will be offering very basic instruction on combat with single sword or sword and shield should we have time and demand for it. I am by no means the most experienced or the most skilled swordsman in the settlement, but I do believe I am the only one at the moment volunteering my time in this capacity.
Expect to learn:
- Stances
- Distance to target
- Footwork
- Defending
- Attacking
- Fighting in true time
This may be canceled or moved in time depending on the events of the night preceding it.

I'd be glad to have your input on my lessons as I teach, and also to demonstrate correct technique or offer your own person insights to those gathered.

I have no knowledge of the two-handed spear, but will attempt to find a tutor for you. Perhaps Smaller would oblige.
