Fresh off the boat - Roland - 02-05-2015
Roland, a 6' human clad in green and brown, emerges from the docks with bow in hand. He stops and takes in the scene of the new town and people before him. Catching a familiar smell, he turns to see what appears to be the local tavern. He begins to make his way towards it.

-Kare is by the Tavern when this new face walks into town- "Hail newcomer, welcome to Ralinwood"

-Roland stops at calmly observes the hooded figure. After a moment he bows his head slightly- "Greetings friend. I've just arrived off the boat. Would this be the local tavern?"

"Ey this be, ye wishin' to stay here in Ralinwood or just passin' by?"

"That I've yet to decide. I've been looking for a place I could settle in but only time will tell if Ralinwood is a good fit for me, or I it. I've heard tell that Ralinwood has a decent forge and smiths. Is this true?"

"If ye be lookin' for a place to make camp, Town Center be a good place for all newcomers, it just by the woods close to the tavern. Ralinwood has many Smiths and I know we have a Forge...just cant quite put me finger on where the Forge be located...if ye stick around long enough I'm sure ye will find it" -smiles-

"Thank you for the advice. I'll seek out Town Center and see about the local forge. Be well my friend and thank you for the kind words" -bows head again and heads out to find a place to make camp-

-Heeding the advice of the hooded man in front of the inn, Roland makes his way to what appears to be Town Center. He stops and observes the area and the people in it, trying to decide where might be a good place to set up camp.-

Alaxel Vane is standing close by the firepit of town center. She is seen talking to some people, arms folded across her chest, a gold-and-blue half mask sitting on her face. She comes to some kind of agreement with them and they head off, so she flips open a little burlap bound book, takes a chunk of charcoal and starts scratching into its pages. As she does so her eyes catch sight of Roland and she cocks her head curiously at him.

-Roland notices the gaze of a small woman near the firepit and approaches- "Hail Friend, my name is Roland." He offers a bow of the head in respect. "Please forgive me if I am interrupting you but I was directed this way by a man near the tavern. He mentioned this would be the place for one to set up camp. Might you be able to suggest a suitable location for a newcomer like myself?"
