Sparks and Thunder ((TS: Feb 3 @ sunrise)) - Gennaro M - 02-03-2015
A quiet, deep, rolling sound disrupts the quiet night. Anyone standing outside can see the top layer of snow dancing almost an inch above the rest of the settled snowfall, the shape of which forming a rough line in the direction of the Skein Gate. The sound steadily grows louder, until the very branches begin to shudder from the concussion of noise. Snow drifts to the ground as the trees are shaken to their roots. It is clear that, while the ground is rumbling, it is not an earthquake.
At this point, everyone who does not sleep like the dead have been awakened by the noise.

*Stefan runs about, clearly distraught, holding what looks to be a prayer bead necklace clutched in his hands*
"IT IZ END OF VORLD! ANCESTORS, VHY? I am being far too young and whimsical to die yet!"

In the heath of the noise, a single spark flies off of the prayer beads. They begin to glow faintly yellow.

*He looks at the beads*
"Ohhh zis' is beink interesting. Ancestors, do you call to jour, son? Jou are being wery, wery loud if so"
*He wraps the prayer beads around the lower part of the blade, of one of the knives tied to his waist*

*He drops to his knees, trying desperately to ignore the racket, and removes the knife with with prayer beads wrapped around them*
"Great Ancestors. Jour favorite son send jou zanks for jour gift to him"
*He holds up the knife towards the Skein Gate, and speaks only as loud as he can hear with the roar of the noise*
"Help me to be findink my kin, ze Purple Clan. Guide ze hand of Stefan. For Baba. For family. So say, jour favorite son. Praise be"

Callum saunters towards the gate, his bastard sword lazily slung over his left shoulder. As he wanders up he mutters "Can not even get decent sleep now that the birds be gone, no the gate need be an annoyance now."

The concussive rumbling intensifies, and a pressure can be felt in the ears of anyone in the settlement that turns quickly to severe discomfort.
The Skein Gate sparks briefly before becoming active, but the usual portal appears fractured and dissonant to anyone who dares to look at it. The surface of the portal shudders like the disturbed surface of water, sharing a frequency with the rumbling and roaring occurring throughout the settlement.
While the Skein Gate appears affected by the activity, it becomes apparent that it is not the source.

*Stefan grins and winces at the same time, coming off as more of a strange scowl. He swiftly heads over to the Skein Gate, staring into it*

*Muninn approaches the gate shield drawn* He chants prayers to Odin of the coming of the end of days, under is breath.( From there can we determine a direction if origin for the sound?)
