A "thin layer of padding" - A goblin played by Matty - 01-20-2015 Hey guys, I was hoping for a shield ruling. If I use plastic to construct my shield , do I need the padding over the surface. If so , would a yoga mat be sufficient, does it need to be covered in duct tape?  RE: A "thin layer of padding" - Sigurd Vask - 01-20-2015 A Yoga mat would be sufficient so long as the edges are covered in thicker foam than the surface. It would need to be sealed with either Duct Tape, latex, cloth cover.
