phys-rock. - A goblin played by Matty - 12-17-2014 So I was discussing a character concept with someone. We were wondering what would be considered the baseline minimum for a rock phys rep. More specifically a pebble sized rock. Would grey spell packets work or if we were to make something padded can it be weighted with seeds. Thanks In advance for the tips. RE: phys-rock. - Sierra Katrian - 12-17-2014 Pebbles? I don't see those working. They have to be bigger than an eye socket in order to be legal. And because rocks are throwing weapons, you cannot weight them with anything. You cannot use spell packets, as spell packets are used for spells. My Jericho character uses rocks as her secondary weapon, and they are about 2 (small) fists in size, made of dollarama sponges, plastic wrap, and duct tape. RE: phys-rock. - Doyly - 12-18-2014 I had been using 5 grey spell packets for my rocks at the start.. When I found out a rule had changed or it was said wrong to me or something a long those lines,, that''s when I made the tiny boulder I use now!! RE: phys-rock. - Sierra Katrian - 12-18-2014 Packets were never allowed as rocks. People just started doing it and it spread like wildfire. RE: phys-rock. - Andrei Katrares - 12-18-2014 You should ask about Render Weapon and Shields some day. RE: phys-rock. - Sierra Katrian - 12-18-2014 NUUUUU!!!!!!! Constantine, you're breaking my heart a lot lately! RE: phys-rock. - Andrei Katrares - 12-18-2014 I am literally the worst. I get that a lot. RE: phys-rock. - Chèvrelier - 12-18-2014 A really neat way to handle throwing rocks is to get some of the puzzle piece floor foam tiles, cutting them into the shape of daggers, tapping them up, and using throwing knives instead of rocks. Added advantage: you can render them. RE: phys-rock. - A goblin played by Matty - 12-19-2014 That's actually an excellent suggestion ^^. It should make them aerodynamic enough to be a threat. Thank you!!! RE: phys-rock. - River_forestwolven - 03-15-2015 What is the weapon damage for rocks? I can not find it in the rule Book? |
