*From out of the treeline towards the ports, Ludwig emerges. He brushes some leaves off of his giant wizard hat, before hobbling into town with his walking staff. He looks around a bit with a tired smile, and begins heading in the direction of the old Skein Gate*

Callum approaches the old dwarf, he does a small polite bow and says "Hail elder dwarf. I have not seen ye in almost a moon, Do ye fair well?"

*He looks up from the brim of his hat*
"Young master Callum. Ja, das guten, mein boy. I have been researching ze appearance of ze mighty sea serpent from below ze ocean's depths"
*He pauses mid-sentence with a sigh*
"I vill admit, zis pursuit vill have me cross ze waters vonce more... albeit zis' time over ze' Skein Gate"

Callum's face shows signs of worry,
"the sea serpent ye say? That was a mighty beast, It felled me oldest brother and took a good friend. Will ye be returning to these lands after ye pursuit?"

"I am... unsure. I have traveled ze length unt breadth of ze lands, gathering data for ze Dragon of Knowledge. Mein best years are behind me, but I have still so much left to see unt experience. Ralinvood has offered zis Hexenmeister many zings to contemplate unt record, but stagnancy is ze enemy of understanding"
*He stops walking and removes his pack, placing it on the ground*

Callum's look of worry turns to a look of sadness, "Aye, ye are a knowledgeable man elder, The knowledge that ye shared was valuable to everyone. Me survival of the hollows was in full part to the knowledge ye passed on to everyone." Callum then does a full bow, "I shall fully regret not being able to learn more from ye me friend ye taught me much. I am sure a fine elder as ye self had many more fine lessons to teach."
