note on a tree (TS: May 15, 11am) - Myra - 05-15-2014
*Myra heads to the hospital table with an armful of parchment again. She sets them down and sorts through until she finds a particular one, then takes it to a nearby tree (whichever seems to be the most central). She stops in front of the tree and looks a bit stumped. She seems to get an idea and roots through her bag until she finds a small bottle, and applies whatever is in it to the back of the paper, then sticks it to the tree. She steps back and waits tensely to see if it will fall. When it doesn't, she heads back to the hospital table. The paper reads:*
If you are a doctor or a magical healer, and wish to join the hospital, please find the table in town centre with the 'Hospital' sign on it, or Myra...I'm usually there anyways.
Also if you are a physician and you want to apprentice to another physician, or have an apprentice, I am setting that up too, I hope. It depends on time and how many people want it, and things like that.
If you need fixing, come to the hospital! Donations are much appreciated but if you can't afford it I understand and that's okay.

I think 'The Hospital' is a fine name to convey its purpose, without being too literal - 'A Bench' or 'That Table' don't quite get the point across.
Thank you so much for investing your time and effort to the care of those who need it. I'm sure the town is very appreciative of your efforts, and will sleep safer knowing you and your peers are here to help.

*Ludvic walks up to the posting grumbling to himself. He shakes his head as he reads it. The plucks it from the tree with an audible "humpf". While walking town proper he will read it aloud 4 times trying to ensure all within ear shot hear him.*

*Doyly hears the town crier's words before getting a quizzically look upon his face. He then proceeds to look for Myra. If she is still around he will walk towards her simply calling her name "Myra!". If she is not around, Doyly will wonder around aimlessly looking for her until someone stops him for whatever reason.

*Myra is scribbling furiously at the hospital table. She looks up at her name and waves*

Doyly runs over to the table with his bags bouncing at his side and spear and shield on his back
"I hear the nice loud man talking about you and your hospital and I was wondering something..."
He trails off being a bit nervous

"Will I be able to get help at the hospital? With me being a Gargylen and all I know I cannot be healed as the others... I need a blacksmith to help me. I know doctors can still help me with being sick and other things like that! But will there be a blacksmith at the hospital? I understand if there isn't with me being the only Gargylen in Ralinwood at the moment. I was just wondering is all."

*her eyes widen in thought and she scribbles something down*
"Um, we can try...I'm not sure how many blacksmiths would want to be a part of the hospital, though. And the budget might be a bit tight...um, in Jericho, we had a doctor who was also a smith, and she fixed the garglyen, unless they needed surgery of course. I guess I'm hoping someone like that exists here? Or a smith will be willing to learn doctoring, or vice versa."
*she smiles tentatively at him*
"I could try to learn one day? Not right away, I have too much else to do, but eventually?"

"I know of some blacksmiths in town that have helped me in the past. But I have found some times where I have been in need and don't know where they are or who could help... I would be willing to repay the hospital! M-Maybe not with silver and gold sometimes... But possibly in services! I could guard or fetch supplies or other things! But if doctors could be blacksmiths or blacksmiths could be doctors that would be cheaper... I am just a bit scared I guess... While everyone was getting the stones for the gate I was... killed... And I remember the whole thing! I'm not as brave as some of the others like Uther or Brair or Galv and is friend, the women with the spear. I don't wish to be killed again so I needed to at the very least check if the hospital could help me."
*Doyly gives Myra a nervous smile and chuckle as he rubs his arm, remembering the wounds he took.
