She gives Carrion a slightly betrayed glance as he speaks, but it quiets to a look of worry, told only by her eyes behind her mask.
"Thank you, Carrion. Yes...that sounds reasonable to me. I was worried this would happen. I came here to escape it, and even still it comes again." She clenches her fist. "Being blamed, outed, murdered for a crime I did not commit."
She looks to Zaydesh and takes a few steps back. "Not necessary."

She glares at him.
"And what, exactly, do you plan to do?" She gestures at his hand.

He holds up a hand as Zaydesh channels. "If she is a vampire, all you are about to do is cause her pain and then sulk about being unable to act until Aminata gives her ruling. Do it if you feel you must, but remember our limitations."

She snorts and looks at him very distrustfully, but steps forwards and faces him squarely. She swallows hard.

"I invoke healing to inflict repel undead." *he incants*
(10ft push and are unable to enter 10ft of the caster for 10 minutes)

She hisses as she's cast back ten feet, landing hard on her back. She trembles and her ears pin tight to her head.
"I was hoping to speak to your Lady before anyone knew..." she utters softly. "I have not harmed anyone in Jericho...And my thrall has supplied me with enough blood for the trip." She looks up behind her mask, her eyes shining. "I had my reasons. The empire is allied with the people who did this to me."
