He sighs. "No, she's not. Not the full truth, anyway."
Carrion gives her an apologetic look before continuing.
"I do know her, and her name is Jasper. Sevatar here seems to be implying she's been turned by the vampires who overran Jericho. Jasper has just implied this is rumour. I can't say which is true, as I'm not trained in identifying the undead. However, if people are in fact spreading such dangerous information, its more than enough reason for her to assume an alias.
"There are no laws for this, no precedent. I will speak to Aminata. I am neither a defender nor exterminator of the undead, I simply keep the law, as we all should. The writ will wait until she is proven to be living, but any judgement should wait for the word of our Lady. Reasonable?"
