"I don't really remember..." she mumbles. "The field caught fire and chased me and swallowed me right up, but with all the damn rain we've been having, it's just not likely. Alastair told me he witnessed it, a random act of violence." She sighs. "good to know writs here are free. What are the laws, if you know?"

"Most of them are common sense. No violence towards other people, including just assault... I know that was semi legal in Jericho. No kidnapping, piracy, cheating people or using alchemy in trades. That sort of thing. I'll find you a copy later to go over. Currently they're more forgiving than you'd expect of a White Raven aligned town, but we haven't quite adopted the full accords."

Sevatar keeps whistling and walks a bit closer to the two, about ten feet away. He seems to look the pair over, before walking off towards Emberside unless stopped.

Carrion waves to him. "Good evening, Sevatar. Have you met Jasper? She worked with Lilith in Jericho."

"Sounds reasonable. Assault has been made illegal in Jericho once more but there's been a real issue with writs and things." She says with a small smile.
"Its been too long, Sevatar!" She says with a little wave. "I was going to greet you, but I plum forgot your name." She chuckles with a slight nervous edge to her voice.

"I once loaned a blade bearing my departed wife's name to a Faun who I thought still had a chance to redeem herself. I see that time has passed. I don't know what stands here now, but it's name is no longer truly Jasper. Just something wearing the skin." He turns his head to Jasper for a moment, before back to Carrion. "Keep your neck covered."
This time he does just walk off towards Emberside.

Her face falls at what Sevatar says and she snorts. "Seems that has chased me here." she mutters softly. "I'm still me."
She looks to Carrion. "Java said I should seek out Capri while I'm here. You know where he is?"
She pauses and looks to Zaydesh. "I'm called Lilac." She greets in a quick voice. "Lilac Clovenhoof."
