"I leave the fire to you." Briar starting at a quick jog down the beach, eyes scanning for anything resembling a body or heavier wreckage.

She tried for a few moments to get the heap of lumber started with flint and steel, but got frustrated after a few moments. Reaching forward, she touched the largest piece in the center, and growled a spell. Channeling lightning, the wood dried and blackened in seconds, and then there was a crackling sound and the pile burst into flames with a pop of the log she'd been holding splintering roughly . A billow of black smoke belched skyward, and she began to scramble about, hurling more wood into the mess to keep it going before she ran to catch up with Briar and help him search.
