How is the quil mightier than the sword ((September 22nd, 12:30pm)) - Shaper Raccoon - 09-22-2015
Callum enters the tavern, fetches himself a mug of mead and sits at a table. He opens a bag on his side and removes a small water logged and slightly rotten book and his iron dagger. He places the book on the table centered in front of him and stares at it while poking it with his blade, he then put the blade down, flips the book open to the middle, picks it up while holding it upside down and stares at it blankly again.
After a few minutes Callum puts the book down, takes a drink from his mead and sighs.

Callum nods to his brother and sets down his mug. "the book be in the same condition as when I found it."

*the Roguishly good looking Jacob joins them at the table. he brings with him a cooked rabbit, it smells of fresh herbs.
he sits opposite Callum and Muninn.*
"I think you're holding it the wrong way Callum" he points out.

Callum looks at his brother with confusion and slowly takes a drink from his mug again, he sets it down and picks up the book closing it as he does. he holds it up so Muninn can see and says "Brother ye know well I can not read, I am much better at stabbing things with swords.". He then puts the book back on the table and slides it across to Muninn.
"Ye spend most of ye time with books, how about reading aloud."
Callum then turns to Kraye with a jovial grin "I Like to think I be holding it in a way that will make the book feel discomfort and inform me of what it has to share."

"are you trying to torture the book? Im not sure how that would works, but to each their own"
*eats a portion of the rabbit*
"you should try some and have Muninn here read us something from your smell book?"
"the rabbit is quite good"
