Great Masquerade everyone! Thanks to our NPC team for killing their roles while literally working out of a closet. The team killed it. And we had a lot of fun.

And with that..  Tell us your thoughts! What did you like, what needs improvements, what are your favourite memories? Let us know!

Any concerns or major complaints, please feel free to email contact@underworldralinwood.ca to speak to the Owners (myself and Dan) directly.

"...my parents where Bards."
"So what does that make you?"
"Tone deph."
Big Grin Super fun game. My highlights include...

- Getting to sing with Alfric!
- Hearing Adam's song
- Teamwork with Zuul, again, like an awful wild elf
- People dancing <3
- People dancing with me! - finally, Mason
- Sild drawing a picture of us dancing
- The sheer number of people who came up to me and Ka'lin to make sure we were having a nice time, since we spent a long time just chilling on the wall - very sweet
I had fun! It was nice to get to dress up fancy and just chill with folks. I enjoyed all the performances (whoever plays Salome, your dancing was amazing and I have desperate backbend envy!). Maybe someday I will either work up the nerve as Zia to perform, or else play a less reserved character :x There was a good mix of drama points and relaxed chilling over all, anyway! I think a personal highlight other one on one convos with some people was my very terrible tarot reading from Cori.
-Aestrid's dancing
-Adam's singing
-Cat and Will's duet
-in fact, all the performances were just lovely.
-I really enjoyed playing a stick-in-the-ass character and how some people were so willing to assist me while others were like "uh....why do you need this information?"
-The generosity of some people towards Penelope. Big Grin
-Will Apostoles, that man is a human gem
-All the pretty masks and costumes
-Angela's "loki gay" costuming- just dazzling!
-Playing cards with Aminata "I'm too scared to tell her she has to pick up more cards." D:
-Sad for Mason. ;^ ;
-That nice tone breakup with the orcs being angry after the toast. "Too much party! Pinkies celebrate too long."
-"YOUR CAPTAIN JUST CHANGED THAT CRIM TO AN OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE." "....*Stares* thank you for being...*stares*....efficient?" "I just want you to have accurate records!"
-"visual charades"

Cons:
-I think the ending dragged just a little bit. A lot of people were already packed up to go home by 12:15
over all was a fun introduction game for both this new character and to the guild.

- great themed entertainment
- being a taster judge at the food contest
- 'improving' the schematics at the drawing table ("but...it's supposed to be a bear" was probably the funniest memory of the night)
- meeting old friends and new ones to be (hopefully)
- actually playing a character that is willing to get boozed up
I missed most of the games and stuff so this event was pretty quiet for me but still had a good time, here are some highlights:
  • Ivan's growing grin as Jen's Quartermaster built up to asking if I had committed any crimes in the past. That immediately followed by Sil whispering "Wait, actually?" when I finally said I had committed treason. This was promptly followed by Ashlind saying it had been reduced to an  obstruction of justice charge and I had to run and correct Jen because there is nothing worse in the world than inaccurate records.
  • Dancing with Ange was great, I'm usually pretty shy about that sort of thing but neither of us having any idea what we were doing meant it was a lot of fun.
  • The performers were all excellent! I particularly liked Adam's song and Cat and Will's duet of "Little Talks". Everybody was amazing though, 10/10 we have so many talented players.
  • Penelope: Mr Gilthanus made me close up my shop and did all these horrific things to me.
    Ori: internal Kill Bill sirens
The Orc Emissary: The Lady in Red is to blame for all this
    Ori: internal sirens intensify
  • Dan busting into the party in a bathrobe and still managing to scare the PCs out of attacking him until he was almost out the door. 10/10  would be dominated and told to stand in a corner and think about what I'd done again.
  • Mason and Dexter gave me all the honey nut feelios. Mason's not-a-goodbye especially.
This event was a blast! I loved getting to be an antagonist for once. Walking around growling at people all night, and having them try so hard to make me their friend. Brewlords working so hard to change my mind from "You are a bunch of drunks" to "Still a bunch of drunks, but you spill blood so fine."

Bloodbag animal gift was better then I expected. Completely last minute addition that paid off. Sorry again for it exploding too soon and leaving droplets around the door! And thank you to all who helped clean up the blood.

Also, food was delicious, all of it. Really happy to see such a large assortment of contributions and I doubt anyone went home hungry.

All in all, a great event and a wonderful party.
can we hand Will A like 40 frags for his Rp and call it a night?

"do you guys know Valley Fenrik? "
-best opening of the night
I'm too lazy to make a different account for Endy at the moment, so I'm using this account. This event was definitely a roller coaster for me, in a good way! I didn't interact with the plot too much until the very end of the event, but that was mostly because I was playing my Jericho PC, Endy.

The interactions I had with so many PCs was great. Everything from Endy's interaction with Garrett and explaining there's an art to compliments, to being just a wee bit overprotective of a friend who was in surgery.

The biggest highlight for me was being able to spend time with Mason. Sneaking in a marriage just before the end of event came. Then being comforted by several people as I cried as things started to unfold and then pulled away to protect me from having to witness it all... Only to get caught up in it. Sad the marriage lasted all of two minutes, but it was a nice conclusion to everything that night for me since I was a lot more invested in that plot line than anything else that night.
