Full Version: Armor Rep problems. Need help!

Hey all.

So my attempts to make armor reps for myself have failed horribly. I went to buy boots at thrift stores to cut up to make bracers and greaves but between being unfamiliar with working with leather before, and also not actually knowing how to spot the differences between real leather and fake leather, well you can imagine how well that went.

So now I'm in a bind. Currently I have only a pair of bracers which I'm almost positive won't be thick enough to score armor, and the boots I wore to the last event which I'm unsure will score or not and won't find out until I get them marshaled.

I could really use some help. Will there be any armor vendors at the event this weekend? Could anyone possibly sell me or loan me some older armor reps for the event? I'd like to have some armor as I'd rather not get my new character killed at her second game.

I know there's the new players 'Knights' package that might help but I need at least a couple physRep's at a minimum, right?

Thanks so much to anyone that can help out!

Hey , I have some plate and maybe a bit of studded. Are you playing your wildelf this game ?Confused
I have a studded vest I am happy to lend if needed. Just need to know rough sizing so I can adjust the shoulders
Muninn: Yeah, I'm playing my wildelf, Valna. Wildelves can wear studded right? If so It'd be a big help! I'll take anything I can get.

Alagossian: That would be awesome! For sizing, I'm not sure I know any numbers, but I tend to wear large/extra-large in women's shirts/jackets, and small/medium in men's clothing. Hopefully that gives an idea of scale?
I will tie down the shoulders and lend it to you for this event. No one I am with is using it so.
Thanks so much! It'll be a big help!

I'll have to talk with people during the event about best options for making/buying armor so I can be ready with my own gear in time for September.
