I know that layering leather is okay in Jericho. I have no reason to believe it would not be permissible to layer flexible lower oz leather to reach the 5oz minimum for armour. Asking if this is the case.

I haven't seen/heard anything to suggest otherwise. I will leave this to an Owner to answer, as they are the best ones for this.

Does it state anything regarding this in the rulebook? If it does, you have your answer. The rulebook is Law.

Nothig in the rulebook. And I have encouraged layering leather before. I just want an official stance as we have no issues with it from a marshal standing.

Yep. You can layer leather here too.
